Q: Do any of the 2010 mustang convertibles come in a hardtop convertible?
I was going to buy a mustang and was wondering if they make a hardtop convertible.

A: No however I think they might have glass tops like the 2009. The 20-10’s are NiiiiiiCeeee!!!! If I could I’d get one but I’m savin up for the 50th anniversary. I have a 2004 40th anniversary mustang. I’m buyin brand new special ordering that pony! Yaaaaa!!! =)

Q: How much is a turbo charger for a corvette convertible 2010?
Hey guys im turning 18 and am curious how much would it cost to put a turbo charger on my corvette to add about 400 hp-600hp and a body kit. Thanks in advance

A: You would be better off super charging a Corvette vs turbo charging.

You can put a Procharger on for about $7,000 installed. Go to West Coast Corvettes and check out the options. Magnusson’s are a little more expensive, and will require an after market hood as well. This may not be an issue if you are going with a body kit.

Check out East Coast Superchargers – they do great work. However, unless you don’t care about the warranty on the car, supercharging or turbocharging WILL void the warranty.

You may also want to consider upgrading the brake system to the ZO6 brakes (or comparable aftermarket). That much more horsepower will require better stopping power.

All this being said, I would not do any of the above. Go with a cold air induction unit, long tube headers, hi flow cats and a good exhaust system (recommend Corsa). Better than that, just buy a ZO6 or a ZR1.

Something to consider…A stock C6 Corvette with 436hp will smoke 95% of the cars on the road. The car only weighs 3100lbs. Doing the above will give you about 35-40 more hp which will take care of another 2-3%.

A: In my honest opinion I think the 2010 mustang is the worst looking mustang yet. Way too much plastic around the bumpers. Just not for me.

A: As a guy, I would much rather see a pretty girl in a Mustang convertible than in a VW Beetle convertible.

Mustangs are definitely “guy” cars, so every guy is going to check out a hot girl who is driving one.

A: I would wait until you actually have the keys in your hand. I would also go with the hardtop as the vert is a couple hundred pounds heavier and the GT500 is rather portly to begin with. I wouldn’t change the any exterior features. I would swap out the stock supercharger for an uprated Kenne Bell unit. I would also invest in some wider wheels/tires, as the stock sized tires don’t provide near enough traction off the line.

Who cars about what the car looks like, The GT500 already has good looks. Under the hood is what matters. I have to chuckle at the people who will spend thousands of dollars on body kits and custom paint. Only to have a bone stock motor under the hood.

Q: Is it only an IRA thats convertible to a Roth IRA in 2010? Can one put 200K from a savings acct to a Roth IRA?
This is regarding the one time conversion that’s allowed in 2010.

A: You cannot convert a savings account into a Roth IRA. However, starting in 2010 there will be no income limits for conversions to a Roth IRA. The limit now is $100,000 AGI.

You can convert a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA, and you can also convert a 401k or 403b to a Roth IRA and take advantage of the provision, for 2010 only, that the conversion is treated as spread over two years.

Q: Will Audi develop a hardtop convertible by the middle of 2010?
I’m planning to buy a hardtop convertible- I want it from Audi- and so I want to look to see if they will have one or not. Any price will do!

A: In short, No. Audi believes that a soft-top convertible is more posh and I agree. Audi hasn’t released any information about a future hardtop convertible but that doesn’t mean it isn’t in the mix. The newest Audi convertible will be the A5/S5 convertible. This will be a 2010 model. In my opinion, I like soft tops best because you are most likely going to have the top down most of the time and then you will have more trunk space when the top is stowed.

Q: Which 2010 muscle cars come in convertible?
I know Mustang does, but what about Camaro and Challenger?

Neither the Camaro nor Challenger are offered in convertible body styles. Both have been talked about, but were put on the back burner indefinitely when the companies filed for bankruptcy.

The Mustang is the only pony car offered as a convertible.

At first they will charge more than invoice because the car is in high demand. The car is already out in some areas. The Lexus dealership I work for has already started to take orders, but we do not have any in stock yet.

A: if you have a pair, it shouldnt be the body style in question here.. get the GT or you will be sorry later on when youre cruisin with a honey and decide to show off at a light and get your a$$ stomped by a teenager in their parents minivan..

A: Right now I’d probably go for the Camaro, and it pains me to say that since I’m a Mustang fanatic. I have owned two Mustangs. But true to tradition, Ford has left the Mustang hopelessly behind the Camaro in horsepower.
Rumor is they will fix this in 2011, but for now, 210 hp in the Mustang vs 300 in the Camaro, I’d go for the Camaro V6 over the Mustang V6.

A: No way , that is a crap deal. In this market, cars are selling as cheap as ever. Also the interest rates for a car loan are practically 0. 32k for a GT stang, no way.

A: I would skip it and just get a new 2011 GT vert. The people who bought the 2010’s aren’t a happy bunch right now.
