Q: 2009 Infiniti G35 convertible?
does anyone know what the price will be on this car?!?! my boyfriend and i will be buying me a new car soon I’m going to get the 2009 Infiniti G35 unless the convertible is within the same price range. anyone know?!?!
ohh and has anyone had any probs. with their g35?
A: a) it’ll be a g37, not a g35.
b) It’ll be out spring of 09
c) Infiniti has not yet released pricing info. The coupe starts at $37,300 so I’d suspect it starts at just over $40K..although there is a lot os incentive to keep it under 40…but not likely.
Q: is there such a thing as a infiniti g35 convertible?
or is there only a g37 convertible
A: No g35 convertible. only g37 convertible
Q: I want to buy a new car, its between 00-05 BMW 3 series convertible and 03-07 Infiniti G35 coupe, Which one?
should I buy? or something you recommend under $15K
A: the infiniti is faster, its dependability ratings are higher, and costs of servicing & repairs lower.
these are facts and the bmw owners can argue all they want….but they are facts.
in terms of how long the cars will last – that is up to the owner and how they pay attentiuon to servicing & maintenance…..there are plenty of old skylines (known here as the nissan gt-r) around that were faster the M series bmw’s when they were new & still faster now.
The simple fact is – the Nissan powertrain is 1 of the best around in terms of quality of assembly, performance and dependability.
So if you want to deal with facts and not marketing hype, it will be the Infiniti, do some research………..

Q: 2004 350z convertible (roadster) or/vs 2003 G35 coupe?
Which one would be better to get they both have about 68 000 km or about 42500 miles. Based on reliability, security, gas consumption.. overall..
A: Based on only 1 factor.
G35 Coupe
and that 1 factor is 4 seater instead of 2.
Q: 2003 G35 coupe or/vs 2004 350z convertible (roadster)?
Which one would be better to get they both have about 68 000 km or about 42500 miles. Based on reliability, security, gas consumption.. overall..
A: These cars are very similar to each other so it would come down to which one you personally like better. I would probably pick the Nissan since its a convertible, which raises it’s value, and its also a year younger than the Infiniti.
Q: Should I get a convertible?
I love cars, especially sports cars. I use to own a G35 coupe, and currently a TL….selling the TL come Spring. I had a Mustang convertible for a week, and although I hate the Mustand, I certainly liked the convertible aspect of it. However, even with the G35 coupe, sometimes I liked the attention, other times…not so much.
I live in Toronto, so it does snow here, a convertible is not the most practical thing, but I am 25, not married, and dont’ have kids. Do you think I should get a convertible? If so, what kind? I was looking at…
BMW Z4
Mercedes CLK 350
and also the hardtops….
Lexus SC430
Mercedes SLK
Pontiac G6 (yeah the Pontiac seems odd, but what other hardtops are there?)
A: do it.
Q: Which car should I buy – Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35 Coupe?
I want a semi-high-line sporty car. I love the 350 Z but the interiors are crap. And there’s only 2 seats. The Infiniti is way more luxury, and has 4 seats, compromising a little of the sportiness. I have also considered a Mercedes CLK (it’s been my dream car forever), but an auto-dealer friend of mine told me used ones are a mechanical nightmare, and not to buy one.
So anyone with any experience with the above cars, or suggestions of something comparable (it HAS to be sexy and sporty – don’t recommend a sedan to me or I’ll …. I’ll….I’ll do something bad), I would appreciate it. I’m approved and ready to buy, I just can’t get off the fence and decide which of these is the best choice!
BTW, we have no kids and don’t live near family or friends so 2 seats isn’t really a problem 99% of the time. Also, I’m in Miami, so a convertible is really NOT needed, although they’re cute. It’s just too friggin’ hot down here to have the top down.
Thanks!
A: Definitely Infiniti G35, i’ts looks sexier for us women. It won’t depreciate as fast as Nissan.
Q: I am buying myself a car for my birthday please help me narrow down the choices?
I’ve graduated school, paid off loans, time to buy myself a car, it’s my 25th coming up so as a bonus I save money on insurance…I’ve narrowed down the list to a few cars, please take a look at them and suggest which one is best and why.
Thanks,
03-04 Infiniti G35 coupe
01-04 BMW 3 series coupe (most likely the 2.5 or 2.8 engine)
04 Acura TSX
06-07 Pontiac G6 convertible
or something else along these lines, I prefer foreign over domestic
A: I am a diehard fan of Honda, so I’d have to say Acura hands down. The others may be more flashy or have better names, but Hondas stand the test of time. They have great gas mileage, replacement parts come cheaper, and they last for years upon years. My boyfriend’s mother has hers up to nearly 300,000 miles now and it still runs great.
Q: Good sports coupe/convertible?
Right now I’m deciding between g35 coupe, 360z and toyota celica, but I’m open to new ideas
Primary features to consider: safety, sportiness, acceleration, handling
Preferable 03 or newer
A: I’d go with the Z then. The g35 is basically just a Z with an infinity emblem and a bunch of luxury features. If you need/want the luxury, then go for the g35, but if not, then there’s no point in paying all that extra cash when what you want is a sports car.
If you can afford it, wait and get the Nissan GTR.
Q: Pick the car I am going to buy!?
About to buy a car, recent university grad, been working hard, time to get a car. What car would you pick? What car is most sexy?
G35 coupe, IS250, G6 convertible, 335 ci or used M3, or other (has to be under $45k)
I am just asking because it’s my first car; and I’ll probably be driving it for 3 or 4 years so I want to hear opinions. I don’t want to be the guy driving a VW bettle with a flower holder in it.
Also it has to be a daily car, so that rules out the Elise, and I can’t get the Elise anyways, import restrictions to Canada. I’ve looked, it’s a hot car.
A: IS350 or 335 CI, with a favor leaning toward the 350 since it’s a sedan, and you’ll be happier, longer with a sedan. 3 years is a LONG time to be driving a coupe or convertible everyday!
Consider leasing it. You have a clean auto history right now. Don’t cloud your car purchasing abilities by getting upside down in a vehicle and seeing your payment increase the next time you trade. By leasing, you can be free and clear in 2 or 3 years when the lease completes. Just as long as you don’t put excessive miles on the vehicle.
Both these cars have high resale values, and high residuals for leasing. So, there may be a very attractive lease option out there on either of these vehicles.
Good luck, and let us know what you decide.
Q: I need help on finding my new car.?
1. G35 2 door
2. Audi A5
3. volvo hardtop convertible
4. bmw 3 series
5.lexus IS
I just don’t know much about cars, their care, etc
I just like how these cars look. I’m not too worried about the price being a factor. I have to get rid of the H2. I’m 26 years old.
A: For a trouble free ride I would go with the Lexus, it is made by Toyota. The Infinity would be my last choice, the BMW 5 series, and not the 3 series, would be next, if you live in the states Audi would be next to last, and Volvo would be number 3. The Infinity is made by Nissan, and Volvo was taken over by Ford, along with the Jaguar.Everyone has a 3 series BMW, and Audi is made by Volkswagen, good car,but few dealers around if your car needs help while traveling. In the wealthy town I live in Lexus is the car.
Q: Which car would you choose?
I am trying to decide between a few cars, which would you choose and why?
01-03 BMW M3
02 Audi S4
06 Audi A4
04 Infiniti G35
07 Lexus IS250 (Can’t afford 350)
07 Pontiac G6 convertible
Or something else? Has to be in the same domain as the above cars please.
Thanks
A: Speaking as a previous Audi and BMW mechanic, I would rule out the BMW 3-series, especially an older M model. They do handle impeccably, are very quick and sporty, but the suspension is very harsh for the average driver and BMW reliability has slipped over the past few years especially the electronics such as climate control. Too many modules and their K-bus system is problematic. Check any recent issue of Consumer Reports to verify that. We had fewer problems with the 3-series than the 5 or 7, but they were still far less reliable than a Toyota or Subaru.
The Audi’s are great cars, but again, not quite as reliable as some of the Japanese makes. If you’re set on an Audi, the A4 is a good choice being newer. They have good resale value too. The older ones have window regulator and stereo problems. They still share some components with VW, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it means maintenance costs can be lower than for say a BMW.
The Pontiac G6 is a highly rated American car and Pontiac, being GM’s “sportier” division puts a lot of effort into performance and handling. Still, I doubt it will be as reliable as the Japanese offerings. GM has had buku problems lately both from an engineering and financial standpoint.
The Infiniti G35 is an excellent car, as is the IS250. You’ll get more bang for your buck and save depreciation with the Infiniti so I’m leaning towards that one. Just make sure the miles are low.
Also have you considered an Acura TL? These were top rated by many magazines and have an excellent reputation for reliability and handling. Also if you want something sporty, you might also consider the Subaru WRX. It has less luxury, but performance-wise they’re pretty incredible, you get the added bonus of AWD and they also have an excellent reputation for reliability.
Good luck in your selection – both fun and frustrating – I know…
Q: Which car should I get?
I used to drive a 2002 Nissan Altima but it broke.
heres my old car: http://images.securedwebform.com/reviews/images/02altima.jpg
My husband and I like the following cars.
2007 Infiniti G35: http://www.infiniti.com/g_sedan/photos/exterior_photos.html
BMW 2007 650i Convertible: http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/6/650iconvertible/default
Lexus RX Hybrid 07: http://www.lexus.com/models/RXh/
if you know any other nice cars, feel free to suggest!
A: Those are very significant upgrades. Very different cars. Owner satisfaction is very high with Lexus and Infinity.
Q: For a First Car…………………?
For one’s first car which could be better an SUV or convertible?
Perhaps a, Range Rover OR a BMW 645?
Maybe even an infiniti g35?
Any reccomendations based on the above??
A: i would choose the BMW for reliability and style, but you will pay a heavy insurance, and you will brake your heart every time you make it a scratch, or maybe more, so think if you will be peaceful driving these cars, if not, think if it worth it or choose another car for, maybe for the first year of driving or when you get more confident, good luck
Q: What kind of car should I look at?
I am 25, currently I own a Acura TL, prior to that I own a G35 coupe. When I crashed my G35, I got a few rentals. Hummber H2, Cadallac Escalade, and Mustang Convertible (non GT).
What I’ve learned is that, I don’t want a sedan or SUV. I love cars, and most of all sport cars.
I plan on selling my TL this spring and getting a coupe. My budget is $40 000 for a NEW car before taxes and options. What do you think I should look at?
I was thinking…
Audi A5
BMW Z4 convertible
Nissan 350Z
Mercedes CLK
and Infiniti G37
Any others or do you have remarks about the ones I have listed?
A: Maintenance on the Benz and Bimmer is high (Audi also, but not as bad as the Benz). I would lean towards the Infiniti or my personal fav, the Audi.
