Q: 2010 Acura TSX or 2007 Infiniti G35?
For the same price I could get a new 2010 4-cylinder TSX or a used 2007 G35 Coupe (which only has 17,000 miles on it).

I have test-driven the TSX and like it…have not driven that particular G35 yet, but will next week.

Which do you think offers better value and would be more reliable? I realize the G35 has a better engine, but beyond that?
Yeah, although the grill does look better in person than it does in pics. I’ve also seen pics of the chrome part painted the same color as the body, leaving the logo in tact which looks nice.

A: I would get the TSX
The interior design looks and feels better and more expensive. It has more standard features, it is more fuel efficient and better in rain or snow. The TSX has a better resale value.

Q: HELP Infiniti G35. (pics included) Insurance pricing?…?
This Christmas my dad bought me a 2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan it is a used car, but the inside looks really new, there are no scratches or dents on the car it has black leather sets and door covers , and black carpet I do not have my G1 yet and will be going for it this Thursday, January 07 2010. After getting my G1 I will be attending driving school so that I will be able to receive my G2 in 8 months instead of the long waiting of 12 months. After I get my G1 this month I will be getting my insurance so I can get use to the car and drive with it. I do have a few concerns tho.
INFORMATION!
______________
I am 17 years old turning 18 this January 30. My dad is 38 years old . he owns his G license and his class A & D license ( trucks) He owns 4 cars on State Farm insurance. Two Ford trucks one 4×4 type and then one big other one, also a BMW and a Honda. He has never been in a accident. I believe hes had his license for about 12 years or more.

1) What is the best thing for me to do. Go on my dads insurance or get my own?
2) If I go on my own how much would it cost? If I went on my dad’s how much would it cost?
3) Is it a hard car to drive?
5) Why does it not have a lettering or “G35″ OR “M35″ some sort of sign on the back?
6) How much would it roughly cost to paint the whole car all black and get sliver trim around the windows?
7) Is it a fast car?
8) I have never heard of an Infiniti upon getting one for X-mas so far I have only really seen about 5 of them on the road. Is it a crappy car or good?

BEST ANSWER WILL GET TEN POINTS :D

A: Get on your fathers policy. If you do it on your own, it will cost you around $300 a month for minimum coverage.

Q: Is it better to wait to buy a used car in January 2010 then buy it in December 2009.?
Is it better to wait to buy a used car in January 2010 then buy it in December 2009. I want to buy a 2006 or 2007 Infiniti G35 and im wondering if the prices will go down if i wait and buy it in 2010 vs 2009 even though it is only about 2 weeks away.
I was thinking that if i buy a 2006 G35 this month then its only 3 years old but if i wait till January 2010 then the car will be 4 years old and price might go down for that reason.

A: A 2006 model vehicle is already 4 years old as the 2010 models are out.
Same with a 2007, it is 3 years old.
You may get a better deal now as the dealer may have to pay a tax on his inventory, so the less inventory he has on hand at the first of the year the less tax he pays.
This personal property tax can vary from state to state and may not apply where you live.
Also if you can deduct the sales tax you can use the deduction for your 2009 taxes if you buy yet this year.
Again this tax can vary from state to state.

Q: Infiniti G35. (pics included) Insurance pricing?… What car year and make is it?
This Christmas my dad bought me a Infiniti G35 ( I’m not 100% sure if its a G35 its either a 2005-2006 ) it is a used car, but the inside looks really new, there are no scratches or dents on the car it has black leather sets and door covers , and black carpet I do not have my G1 yet and will be going for it this Thursday, January 07 2010. BEST ANSWER WILL GET TEN POINTS :D
I’m not a fan of two door cars so its all good still :D

A: Infiniti is Nissan’s premium brand; Infiniti is to Nissan what Lexus is to Toyota, what Acura is to Honda.

The bodywork didn’t change much in the first-generation G. The VIN should be visible from in front of the windshield; the tenth digit will give you the model year. (4=2004; 5=2005; and so forth.)

Q: Will prices of used cars drop in August/September when the 2010 models arrive?
I’m looking into purchasing a 2006 Infiniti G35 in the next few months. The trim/color/interior style/mileage that I’m looking at is roughly $18,000-$20,000 right now. Do you think I could expect a significant decrease later in the year when the 2010 models are available? If so, I will wait and purchase at the end of the year, but if it’s not going to make a big difference, I will probably purchase in just a few months.

Help please!
It would be helpful if someone could also include an answer for private sellers. (Sold by owner)

Thanks! =)

A: It varies, and most of the time its up to the dealer. Arrival of new year model cars doesn’t really have a significant effect of a dealers used car inventory, unless they have tons of new buyers who just traded in their old car. You could wait and see, but then you have to consider that if its a really hot selling model (in other words, they have a very few used G35’s in stock), then you wont see a huge price drop.

Q: What should i get??????
new 2010 fully loaded ford fusion or used 2008 infiniti g35 sedan.

A: The Infinity is a superior car in many respects, but the warranty on the new car will be way better. You won’t be slumming in the Fusion, either. America needs the new car sale, but someone also needs the used car sale.

The environmental impact of manufacturing has already been made by the used car, while that impact by the new car is right now and the sale of the new car will trigger the building of another one.

Which ethical imperative impresses you more, employment and recovery, or carbon footprint? If it’s the latter, buy the used car and ignore the warranty. If it’s the former, get the Ford.

I am assuming you have driven both cars and are not certain which you prefer. If you like the Infinity more than you like the Fusion, and the economic risk (repairs) of the used car is insignificant, then get the Infinity. If warranty is an imperative, get the Ford.

BTW, my experience as a used car manager at a franchised new car store has proven to me that recent Fords (NOT the brand of the store I work for) are very reliable, but Infinities are more so. HOWEVER, the cost to repair an Infinity is twice or more the cost to repair a Ford, mostly due to parts costs. If the Infinity breaks, you won’t be smiling.

Q: which car should i get? Easy 10 points!?
2010 ford fusion hybrid, 2009 Mazda6 v6, 2009 honda accord v6, or a used 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan. please help thanks.

A: 2010 ford fusion hybrid.
because that’s what i want!

Q: what should i get??????
new 2010 ford fusion vs new 2009 honda accord sedan vs used 2006 lexus es vs used 2008 infiniti g35 sedan. please i need help deciding.

A: 2010 Ford Fusion looks and drives really nice. Plus, you’ll have full warranty. It’s also good on gas and dependable. Ford has improved in quality significantly in the last 5 years and is on the same level now as Toyota, according to automotive press.

I don’t like Honda Accord, I think the latest styling is just awful, not that these are bad cars but they drive like big boats without any precision or fun factor.

Lexus ES300 is the upscale version of Toyota Camry. So, you’re basically buying a Camry. It’s a good overall car but similarly to Honda Accord, doesn’t exhibit any fun and excitement while driving.

2008 Infinity G35 is the best of all the cars you listed in terms of styling, dependability, and status. It comes close to BMW in regards to driving dynamics and precision. But, still not a BMW.

Personally, I feel we need to support our economy so that one day we finally get out of this terrible economy. That said, the only american brand you listed is Ford. I’d go with Ford, but ultimately it’s your decision. You can’t really go wrong with Ford Fusion or G35

Q: Buy out Lease or Purchase New?
I have a leased 2007 Infiniti G35 that has to be turned in since the lease is expired. I want to start purchasing good used cars that are partially depreciated as a purchasing strategy moving forward rather than leasing. Here’s the dilemma. If I turn in my car, I have to pay $3,200 in excess mileage fees. The alternative is to buy out the lease for $21K (taxes included) where I will own the car free and clear.

I drive about 22,000 miles per year so I would like to consider buying a 2010 Toyota Prius IV. The buy price on that car is about $27,000. It’s hard to find used 2010 Toyota Prius so I would have to buy new which contradicts my buy used strategy. I figure the Prius will save me about $2,000 a year in fuel cost compared to an Infiniti.

My question is, what is the best economical option? I’m considering buying out the Infiniti lease for $21K to avoid the mileage fees or simply biting the bullet and buying a Prius for $27,000 and paying the mileage fees of $3,200 back to Infiniti. Please offer your opinion.

Thank you

A: Lessors rarely negotiate lease buyouts, especially if they did not make you an offer few months prior to the lease end. But it’s worth a try.

You can also try trading it in. Maybe a dealer will give you $20k for it, which would save you $2200 over turning it in.

Q: What car do you drive?
Ive got a couple actually…

2006 Honda Civic Hybrid
2008 Infiniti G35 Coupe
2010 Nissan Nismo 370z

I usually go with the 370z, unless I travel a lot, then i use the Honda.

A: Nissan Skyline R33 Spec 2.

Q: which first car is better ?
2008-2010 Scion tc ? automatic with pedestal spoiler ( might be new or used)
or a 2010-2011 Ford Mustang .
which is better ? & idc about speed or anything .
i just care about it being reliable , safety , good mpg , and having good looks :)
& these are the only two cars im intrested in as of right now .
i already can afford the car & insurance so i just need to know which is better ?
i know the mustang are v6s and v8s .
i drove nothing but v6s and v8s my whole like ( 2004 infiniti g35 , 1994 dodge dakota , 1998 jaguar xj8 , 2006 jaguar xj8 ) ive never droven a 4 cylinder and i really dont see a difference .
but i would just like to know which is better and safer between the 2008-2010 scion tc & 2010-2011 ford mustang .
no rude answers about me totaling it , i just need to know the facts .
thanks :)
oh , the mustang is automatic as well , & i dont know what trim i will get if i do get it .

A: Here are the 2010 Auto Reliability Grade Point Averages for the vehicles:

Toyota’s Scion tC: 3.36 (on the usual scale of 0.00 to 4.00) over a 5-year CR data history,
The V6 Ford Mustang: 2.67 over a 4-year CR data history,
The V8 Ford Mustang: 2.69 over a 10-year CR data history.

With regard to durability, AutoOnInfo.net estimates that a typical Ford vehicle at 3 years of age may be about as troublesome to own as a typical Toyota vehicle at 15 years of age.

So, with regard to reliability and durability, the Toyota Scion tC appears the better.

Q: mustang as a first car ?
ive driven one v6 (my moms 2004 infiniti g35) and three v8s ( my dads 1998 jaguar xj8 , 1994 dodge dakota , & his 2006 jaguar xj8 ) so im used to driving cars with those kind of engines .
the only car i drove that was 4 cylinder was my brothers 2000 nissan sentra but i didnt like the way it accelerated , idk maybe its because i wasnt used to it .
but i want a 2010 mustang .
and i was wondering would that be a good first car ?
as in safety , reliability , good mpg ?
i can afford the car ,& insurance & things like that .
no rude answers please .
thanks :)

A: if you can afford the car buy it
