Q: Will you still be able to get a 2009 Pontiac G6 in April of 2010?
Will they still have new 2009 Pontiac g6’s for sale in April of 2010 or will I have to fight to find a good used one?

A: Pontiac G6s are no longer being manufactured, so the only way you’ll be able to get a new one is if there are some left at the dealer that nobody has bought yet.

Q: pontiac g6 body changes?
did pontiac change the look of the g6 body between 2005 and 2010. like anything very noticable.

Q: Is there any way to end a lease early?
I have an 06 Pontiac G6 Gt. The lease is up Oct 2010. It was a 4 year lease to keep the payments lower (stupid I know). The miles were 48,000. I already have 55,000 on it. (stupid again, I know. But couldn’t be avoided). The point is, I don’t need the car anymore. Instead of parking it and paying for it (payments + insurance) I would like to get rid of it. Is there anyway to do this?
The payoff is about $7800 plus .20 a mile over 48,120. KBB value is about $10,000 private sale. Can I sell it?

A: I’m thinking that $7800 is not the payoff on the car, but is the balance of your payments. Do the rest of your payments add up to $7800? If so, then your payoff is that amount PLUS your residual, PLUS tax on the residual. However, if you buy or sell the car, nobody pays for extra miles. You only pay for miles if you turn the car back in to the finance company.

You have two choices: Pay the remaining payments (whether you keep the car for the remainder of the lease makes no difference; you still owe the rest of the payments), or try to sell the car for payoff. Call the lender to verify the ACTUAL payoff (how much it would cost to BUY the car, not just the rest of the payments)

Q: Is XM satellite radio standard in ALL 2009 Pontiac G6’s?
I’ve been driving a 2010 rental while my Saturn is being fixed and I have fallen in love with the XM radio. I did some research and found that XM radio became standard in 2009 G6’s. A 2009 G6 is more in my price range at this time and when shopping around I’ve seen a different “basic” looking radio in the 2009’s. Does this radio have XM and just look different or did they start putting XM in in the 2009.5 models? Any information would be highly appreciated ;)

Q: Pontiac Going Out of Business in 2010……How will this affect people buying pontiac cars?

It’s a 2007 4 door sedan. The listing price is 10,000. They say they are willing to go as low as 9,000. However, I heard the company is going out of business. Which thus means they will stop making parts for pontiac cars. What if my car breaks down? Will there be parts left to salvage? Is this a good deal getting a 2 yr car for 9,000 possibly 10,000, even though they are going O.U.B.?

A: out of the above, the BMW is the best

but personally, the insurance would kill you on it.

I would personally recommend a VW Jetta. Safe, reliable, 3 years of free maintenance, stylish, and the insurance rates are pretty low compared to the choices you listed.

For that price range, you could get a Jetta GLI, which is fully loaded.

Q: Which car is better and which truck/SUV is better?
After being told that auctions aren’t the best place(s) to look for new cars,we changed our minds and decided to go to dealers and look.

My girlfriend wants either a Pontiac G6, Pontiac G8 or a Nissan Altima, Nissan Maxima. The years will be from 2008 to 2010. Which would you recommend as a reliable,safe and gas saver? Most likely she’ll be putting high mileage on this car.

As for me,I want either a Tahoe or an Avalanche. The years aren’t too specific for me,just something after 2007. Pretty much looking for the same recommendations.

A: I’d say the G8 for the car and as for the SUV/trucks I’d say the Tahoe. I personally don’t get the whole concept about the Avalanche…why not a double cab Silverado without all that plastic shit on the bed.

Q: Can I sell my leased car?
My lease isn’t up till October 2010. I want out. If I have someone who would be willing to buy my car in cash, can that happen? What do they pay? The remaining lease payments plus the residual? That seems so high… My residual I believe on my contract was 11K. The remaining lease payments are about $7500. So $18,500 to buy an ‘06 Pontiac G6 GT with 55K miles on it? That seems really high. Is there a way to negotiate the residual?

Is any of this even correct? I’m not sure if I can even sell it and I really don’t want to call GMAC right now. Any insight?

A: You need to call GMAC at (800)260-4622 and ask for your customer buyout. It will probably be much higher than what you can sell it for. You can’t just sell it for the remaining payments because the car will still be in your name. The residual value on your contracts are based on the value at lease end, so it’s meaningless at this point. Good luck and I hope this helps and you can email if you have questions.

A: Don’t get the Charger, it will be way to fast for you, and you will smash it. I learned not to get fast cars when I got a 350Z for my first car. Don’t get the Kia because Kia’s aren’t very dependable. Definitely not the Jaguar, another fast car. I would say either of the Pontiac’s, the Impala, or the Acura. Just my opinion though.

Q: First car. Still trying to decide. Options.?
With a 32 on my ACT i can have ANY car under $30,000.
with a 30-31 on my ACT i can have ANY car under $15,000
with a 28-29 on my ACT i can have ANY car under $7500, BUT it has to be APPROVED by my dad.
My insurance company WILL NOT insure ANYONE under 22 with a high performance car (camaro, mustang, GTO etc.) UNLESS you pay high risk insurance which is a higher monthly payment.

here is my options and what I’d do with the left over money (Which I’ll have to talk my dad into letting me have).

so.
-with a 32, the high risk insurance, and $14K I can get the 2010 Camaro SS fully Loaded. (Black with Silver Racing Stripes)

-with high risk insurance, a 2000 Camaro SS (mod and paint)

-1993 Chevy Blazer, (update the interior and stero system, and mod it a little)

-2000 Chevy S10 Xtreme (mod it.)

-2006 Dodge Charger R/T (audio system & mod it.)

-2003 Chevy Impala (upgrade the audio system and mod it)

-2006 Pontiac G6 (mod it)

-with high risk insurance, a 1993 Camaro (mod and paint)

-with high risk insurance, a 1993 mustang (mod and paint)

I can wait until I’m 18 and get a harley with that money, and use the left over money to upgrade it. (mom wont lemme get a bike until I’m 18)
