Q: Does anyone know where i can find a pontiac solstice or a convertible new beetle for under $10,000?
i have a small budget of about $10,000 and need a car i was thinking of a new beetle convertible or pontiac solstice. i know, don’t laugh, a pontiac solstice is more pricey and not near $10,000 but was hoping if anyone knows of any on sale or a place to get them for cheap.

A: here in s.w. missouri u can buy a convertable new beetle for under $10G, but it won’t be a new new beetle. ur prolly looking at an ‘03.

try looking at e-bay or calling a few dealers in ur area and ‘put out the word’ as to what ur looking for, they have the resources, they can find u what u want.

Q: Do cellphone companys have sales after christmas?
I am looking at getting the samsung solstice as a no commitment price. Does anyone know if they will have a sale for at&t? Because $200 is to much money and i need a discount or sale or something for it. 10 POINTS!!

A: Cell phone companies have sales after Christmas. They have different sales all the time. Call your carrier and ask when your phone may be on sale.

Q: Buying a Used Car from a Seller?
Hello: I need some insight and some help . I am thinking of buying a used car 2007 Pontiac Solstice from a private seller (no dealership etc..) I checked carfax aswell. How do these normal sales happen. I am not financing the car . What should I look for so I dont get screwed on a deal. It is not Salvaged based on car fax. Any input would help. Thanks

Q: Commission only sales reps…a good idea or not?

Would you buy services from a sales person representing, but not employed by a company?
Do you think there would be a negative impact on the perception of a company that uses commission only sales people?

A: 1. NO 2. YES ….. I will not buy from a company that i know pays its employees on a commission only basis, it causes sales people to be less honest and more pushy.

The only problem is that now the price of the solstice went up at the at&t store that I bought the xenon from, but it is on sale at radioshack and best buy.

is it possible for me to return the xenon for a solstice?
or would I have to close my account (on my family plan) and then re-open it at radioshack? Are there any extra fees for doing this?

A: There would be tons of extra fees to close an account and reopen one. If there are problems with a phone during the first 30 days and you have limited usage on the phone and it is still in mint condition, you may be able to exchange the phone. You may want to consider wiping out the phone’s usage information and all of your private information first.

Q: Would you think this is a good deal for a NES system with games and stuff???
Hi there, Im an oldschool gamer and have many systems that I collect and review. There is a NES system w/games in my local area for sale. I just wanted to know if this was a good deal or not. Now it depends on the games and the condition of the system to determine if this is truly a good deal. The price on it is 45.00
Now the console works great occasionally. Of course you have the blinking but it only does it once in awhile. Some of us had one so we know.
Here is the list of games it comes with:

Original Nintendo system with 3 controllers and 18 games which include, Legend of Zelda, Adventures of Link, Mega Man 2&3, Super Mario 1&3, Metal Gear, Tom and Jerry, Solstice, Championship Bowling, Back to the Future, Jungle Book, Adventure Island, NFL football, Blaster Master, The Battle of Olympus, R.C. Pro Am, Nes Play Action Football, also Duck Hunt

Is this a good deal? It seems like it is to me. But i just thought other old school gamers should have there opinion in this.

A: I think its a good deal if you really want it. Im pretty sure you could get 5 dollars for alot of them if you sold them on Ebay, probably some more for the Zelda games.

18 times 5 is 90 bucks, double what 45 is and i didnt even mention the system.

Hmmm Basically your buying every game for $2.50 each and getting a free system and controllers.

Sounds good to me, but if your planning on getting a Wii or have one and only really want a couple of these 18 games. Youd be better off downloading them on the Wii from the Virtual Console and no crazy driving me insane blinking.

But really its all up to you, Question is, Is it something you really want? If Yes then buy it, if No then dont.

Q: So….what is the reason for all the celebrations in December?
I really don’t care if people say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas…I think that whole debate is ridiculous.

But why do some non-christians want to pretend that this time of year is such a big celebration for some reason besides Christmas?

I’ve seen a Charlie Brown Christmas, Garfield Christmas, Mickey Christmas, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, etc, etc, all on TV in the past couple weeks. I haven’t seen A Mickey’s Solstice….or A Yule Carol….or Kwanzaa Vacation.

I don’t think stores are having huge sales and putting up decorations to get the Solstice shoppers in their doors.

I don’t think cities are putting up decorations and having parades because it helps people get into the Yule spirit.

And I really don’t think that most stores and services shut down on December 25th for any other reason besides Christmas.

So I don’t really care if you want to say Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, or Joyful Yule….but don’t try to say that the reason for all the big celebrations this time of year is for anything else besides Christmas….it really doesn’t make you look very bright.

Pehaps he realizes that there aren’t so many Christmas bucks this year, and if saying “Merry Christmas” will bring more business to his shop, then he’s willing to choke it out to please the customer?

Q: can christians put up a pagan tree and not call it a sin?
I mean surely an edict from the Pope can clear this up, Jesus and Paul in bible clearly clarified the need to celebrate the birth of himself with Yule Logs, festive “lights”, gifts from 2 years late Magi, shopping all the sales and using church money for christmas parties….I’m sure christians can find a way to justify celebrating a centuries old pagan observation of the solstice and not call it “sin”, right?

A: They are confused about the Northern pagan/heathen origins of Christmas. But just do it anyway.
